The German origin label, also known as “Good from German Agriculture,” is a label that has been in existence since January 1, 2024, and identifies products that are verifiably produced and processed in Germany. It is intended to create transparency, promote appreciation for food of German origin, and strengthen domestic agriculture by ensuring the traceability of products from production to processing.
